What Training Do We Offer?

Jesus told us, his disciples, to make disciples of all nations. The Bible also tells church leadership to equip their people for the service and outreach. One of the most important values of the Fort Wayne School of Urban Ministry is provide evangelism, disciple-making, church growth and leadership training to the poor, the disenfranchised and the ethnically diverse people in our city.

Abundant Life Program

The Fort Wayne School of Urban Ministry provides a simple disciple-making program to local Fort Wayne congregations called Abundant Life.   Abundant Life was developed in the urban context, and has been used effectively in helping new or struggling Christians reach a deeper level of spiritual maturity.

Institute of Urban Church Leadership

In the fall 2010, the Fort Wayne School of Urban Ministry provided a training institute designed to equip and train laypeople to assume greater roles of leadership in their local congregations.  These courses are thirteen or six week long  and focused on winning people to Christ, building them up in the faith, equipping them for service and sending them to unreached people, here and abroad.
